Gauge Lights

A while back I put some Halo gauges into my car and for the power I just hooked them up to the light thats connected to the PRND321 lights next to the shifter. The gauges worked just fine and were bright as hell but now they are pretty dim and the dimmer switch is turned all the way up and the shifter lights aren't dim at all either.... any input would be great, thanks!!

are there any other ideas for the cause of this problem? could it possibly be a blown fuse somewhere so it's just not getting enough power?

If a fuse was blown, my thought would be that it wouldn't light at all.

recheck all your wiring. if you do that you might find the problem. a pinched wire or bad connection for example.
