Depends where I go. I have this thing about only filling up at Shell and if I'm on the north end of the city there's only one and they pump it for you. If I'm on the east side it's self-serve.

SLAP THAT LITTLE BITCH!!!! and the reason he didn't pump his own gas is because lately the weather has been effing retarded with blowing snow and cold temps.

Damn rights! It's effin cold out here. Not the worst I've seen but it's still -25 here.

I still don't know how you put a gas cap on wrong. Like it was cross threaded in the compartment.

Just a question for ya greenbastard. What kind of mileage have you been getting? And do you have a remote start?

Cause my Alero's been licking balls in the mileage department. I'm getting about 350kms on 45L of fuel.

i don't have remote start and i have really calculated my gas milage. i have a 2.4 with wai so it will be different than yours. the only thing i can tell you is that i drove to the Red Hot Chillie Peppers concert in Saskatoon. i filled my tank and drove there and i think it is 250kms exactly. i drove there and killed a half a tank. we got lost in saskatoon so we couldn't try to get back without filling up. i wouldn't want to try anyway because we drove home after the concert. 480 to 500 kms per tank highway. never tried in the city.

Yeah I have this same problem, though im just gonna wait until the guage just stops working completly. Its so funny watching it go from empty to full, its almost like it fills itself up. It only happens when I go lower than a quarter tank, but I have gotten 310 miles per tank before.

from what you keep posting about the temperatures that far north I call shenanigans on this statement. If you want to say you have a short ram intake that is fine but with temperatures like -25 and what not there is no warm air there so you cannot have a WAI.

Well I know if I go pure highway I can get around 600-650 kms depending on how far I drive. I did Saskatoon to Edmonton in one tank. I've done Saskatoon to Regina and back in one tank. It was pushing it though. I got in the city with 610kms on the tank and I managed to get 49L of fuel into it.

It's just the city that I get like 350 kms.

Is the gas gauge problem a common problem in Aleros?

My gauge hasn't been working right for over a year. It creeps up while I drive, and empty is somewhere near a quarter tank. I just reset the trip when I fill up, and make sure to get more before I hit 300 miles (I can make it farther, but why?). Haven't been on the side of the road since. And I swear that time the gas froze in the fuel line, because when I filled it up after getting a couple gallons from a friend who lived nearby the highway I was stranded on, it didn't add up to near 14 gallons.
