well i didn't use bondo i used fiberglass and before you add fiber glass you must sand it real good or atleast till the gloss is removed, then i added cat hairs and fiberglass. Last i sanded the whole trunk to get a smooth and even surface. In my opinion it looks better than the big tailight original look.

i hated the fact lights. i was hopping u used hair thats not a bad idea though

its simple autozone gots everything u need.
-A mat of Cat Hairs
-Fibergloss jelly
-A putty knife
-but they don't have a circular sander so u might want to pick that up at wal-mart

Ouch autozone bondo brand stuff is the worst stuff to use. You should switch over to evercoat brand. Evercoat body filler and etc OWNZ. Easiest stuff to sand ever. way better than bondo brand body filler.

please tell me you didnt just glass over the stock tail lights. cause judging from the picture i saw of your car....... it looks like you just glassed over the stock tail. and thats definately a shit job

uh, the proper way is to shape and weld in some sheet metal. then mud it.

to be honest yeah i did fiberglass over the stock tailights cause i was waiting for my sheet metal to come home to me from my friends work but he would never bring it so i said eff it im going to just finish what i started. I was driving around with out the inner tailights for a while so since he never pulled through i just did it OH WELL

I know what it's like to get screwed over waiting for things to come in. I would recommend though, as I'm sure others would... think of the glass over the tail lights as only temporary. When you get a chance, finish it up.

yeah i do want to continue it but right now i am focus on add HP to my lil 4cy block. Right now I got my head in the machine shop getting a vavle job, and Im looking to get the 2.3 HO intake manifold with the 2.4 flange
