well i didn't use bondo i used fiberglass and before you add fiber glass you must sand it real good or atleast till the gloss is removed, then i added cat hairs and fiberglass. Last i sanded the whole trunk to get a smooth and even surface. In my opinion it looks better than the big tailight original look.

its simple autozone gots everything u need.

-A mat of Cat Hairs
-Fibergloss jelly
-A putty knife
-but they don't have a circular sander so u might want to pick that up at wal-mart

Ouch autozone bondo brand stuff is the worst stuff to use. You should switch over to evercoat brand. Evercoat body filler and etc OWNZ. Easiest stuff to sand ever. way better than bondo brand body filler.

to be honest yeah i did fiberglass over the stock tailights cause i was waiting for my sheet metal to come home to me from my friends work but he would never bring it so i said eff it im going to just finish what i started. I was driving around with out the inner tailights for a while so since he never pulled through i just did it OH WELL

I know what it's like to get screwed over waiting for things to come in. I would recommend though, as I'm sure others would... think of the glass over the tail lights as only temporary. When you get a chance, finish it up.
