I know that like a million questions have been asked about lowering springs... but i searched the forum.. but i didnt find nething...
Im lookin at getting H&R Springs, they dont make a alero application, but they do make a Grand Am, i think they should be ok, i plan on getting koni's or kyb's at the same time.
The springs are a 1.6 front, and 1.4 rear.. and thats on a Grand am.. i heard that the Grand am is lower to begin with.. but i dunno.. Any imput would be appreceated. Kit P/n is 50739, i can get them for $350..
Im getting my Taxes here soon, and about a grand from the summers werk, So i plan on doing Springs, struts, Swaybars, and maybe strut tower braces, or maybe some better brakes.. depends lol

I think the H&R give drop the car more in the front than the rear..... like Eibach drops the rear a lot more than the front, Intrax are pretty much level (overall look), and the H&R give it a more old school front end lower look.

If you can believe it I'm thinking of going back to them......sort of.
The biggest problem I had with H&R's was that they rubbed a bit inside the driver's side rear shock tower. Intrax fit fine but are way too soft for me. Eibachs are better, but I still find them to be a bit soft. I'm thinking of running H&Rs in front and Eibachs in back. We'll see how the combo effects the balance of the car.

Thanks fer teh imput....
I do beleave ive seen that allready but i'll take annother look...
From what ive gathered the intrax are more of a show drop rather than an autocross performer...
The latter is the one im looking for.. i want my car not to handle like ass...
thanks for the imput

Ur car will deffinatly handle alot better w/intrax. From pix Ive seen the ST springs are the lowest drop, more of a show drop. I guestimate that my car dropped 1 3/4"TOPS... I never measured and I dont have any pix yet..but it looks like any other alero on Intrax

Yea... 1&3/4 is quite a drop... the drop isnt my bigest concern.
I really would like the stiffest/best handleing springs around...
Plus being in canada and not being 19/having a credit card it would be harder for me to order online...lol and i dont know where other than summit to get the intrax.. or more importantly where in canaduh :P lol

Yea, u prolly should look into the Eibach's then....
most any auto performance type of store should be able to hook u up w/ either eibachs or intrax...may be a lil more expensive, but u can pay upfront.
I hear the ordering online thing....before I had credit, I would pay my dad up front and have him order the stuff w/his credit card. See if u can get someone to do that for ya.
