Mass Air Flow Sensor

Recently I had headers put in my car and have had problems with the engine and trac off lights coming on. I was just wondering if a mass air flow sensor would work with my car [2.4L] if it's from another car with the same engine such as the cavalier. I was going to buy one from kragen thanks for any input.

You're going to have a hard time finding a mass air flow sensor for a 2.4. They never came with them.

It is most likely the upstream o2 sensor. That has been the biggest problem when people install the HEADER on the 2.4. When it is put on the o2 wires need to be extended so, check into how it was done.

Go to a local auto parts store and get the code read for you so you know exactly what it is, that way we could help you better. I agree with NoSweat though, it's most likely O2 sensor related.
