Thanks everyone for posting up these pictures! It still makes me upset when I try to understand why Oldsmobile got canned. Today, i had a discussion with my grandpa about it all after I read a Detroit News article about GM turning 100 years old. We both came to the conclusion that it was a bad move on GM's part. Oh well, again, thanks for the pictures everyone!

So you guys that have the connections with OCA and that have gotten to see the OSVs in person.. Have any of you been able to get ahold of the exhaust tip or been able to grab some measurements from it? There is a place here in St.Louis that I bet would make us the tip if we had some measurements and did it like a group buy.

The tips were custom built for the OSV of course. We would have to wait for the group buy to be completed and then have the tips made to match up with the OSV kit we have made. This would be for good fit and finish.
If you think you have a company that might be willing to make them, show them some pics and get an estimate of what it might cost on a group buy. What material would they use?

All 3.5's that I have ever seen have a trans fluid dipstick. My '99 Intrigue with a 3.5 has one also.

The trans dipstick wasn't an engine thing, it was a trans thing. The 3.5 has the 4T65-E.

still, I'm sure they could've found a way to put one on the 4T45E. My dad couldn't believe it when i told him that my car didn't have a trans dipstick.

This is a pic of the back of the zebra Alero from ASS 07, if you zoom to full you can see exhaust decent.
