power steering loss

my wifes alero has constantly had a power steering leak that went from being about a reservoir a week.. to being about one a day... i tryed to fill the tank with lucas oil and it wont hold... it gets bubbles in it and creates like a foam.. its got pressure but keeps leaking... the rack and pinion are all clear of drips and it seems to be comming from behind the drive belt somewhere near the upper belt.. where its impossible to see the bottom of the reservoir does anyone have a diagram of the power steering setup.. they make them for my acura but i havent been able to find a good manual for this car...

and if anyone has any tips for this let me know.. thanks...

it is the pump there is a weep hole behind the pulley. when the seal goes bad it leaks. i have replaced 2 of them on my car. if you are doing it get (borrow from auto parts store) a puller for the pulley. it is plastic and will brake if you dont use the puller.

i just one on the wife's GA and it still did it after replacing the pump because it was leaking from where the sensor goes thru the pressure line into the pump. i think her problem is the internal cage pc is bad.

yes get puller from auto store and no there is no upgrade from plastic to steel on the pulley.

If you do it yourself and break a pulley, i got one for sale. Its listed in the forsale section. For $14 shipped. Normally $25 bucks plus tax or shipping. Just to let you know.

found another leak in my system just above the back pipe for the exhaust the thermal cover seems to be blocking maybe a crack in the line... it sucks my tire slightly differ from each other in turnin cause the drivers side is dead stick but the pass has power minorly... so basically its hard to turn if the cars not rolling.
