Well, time to bust out the dremel and fix that SOB!!! Get it manageable, then use some duraglass with kitty hair mixed in to smoothe it, then RageGold, then a skim coat if needed, and you'll be good to go I bet!!

agreed clutch. Lookins like it needs alot of sanding, exspecialy that huge glob on the top. How many layers did you put? looks a little thin?
try and remove all the access off the sides, its going to save you alot of time by just cutting it, and could mess with the fitment of your bezel when your done with it.
Dont give up on it, just get some kitty hair, and get to work. Also tape off the rest of the bezel your not working with so as not to damage or cause your self any more work........just keep trying bro ...learn from every step.

looks like it needs sanding....what you did is just the first step...next you need to sand and smooth it all out.

dude you could of asked me questions.
remove the heater control and tape off the printed stuff. wrap the fleece (thats what I used ) around the sides and hot glue em. cut about 3" off the back of the cubby and wrap the material down and around the bottom. resin the material and sand and "bondo" sand and paint. want more details ask. I will tell you all I know
I just want to add that this site www.fiberglassforums.com has a LOT of good info and a lot of people willing to help. just be aware it take over your world and suck you in. lol
also the gauge pod took me two times to get right

I tried to do this one
http://teamzx2.com/index.php/topic,18027.0.html
but half way through my project the tut just disappeared. GREAT!
So I have just been hoping I was doing it right. I mean I read the whole tut twice before I started.. I just feel like I'm missing one little step.

rofl...here's what i did with mine...unfortunately i dont have a finished pic. but this gives ya the basic idea. i removed the alero hvac altogether and replaced it with a grand am set, cut out a hole in the side of the center console the same shape as the gauge area(thats actually part of the center console from a GA). and then secured the GA hvac to the center console.

Its not drying b/c you have so much crapped plopped (sp) on there. You need to try to scrap some of the hardener off of the fiberglass so it dries, and then sand the shit out of it.
