Odd noises with lowering springs

Ok, so I had springtech springs put on my car, along with the gr2's. Since then, theres been a popping sound in the front end when you turn, and now in the rain, theres a slight grinding sound (seems like its comming from the drivers side front) Any ideas of what this could be (my mounts werent replaced, but they were in good condition, they only have 78000kms on them)

If short lived: Settling. Now worries.

If this has been going on for a while (1-2 weeks): The mount was set incorrectly.

I had this when I lowered my car. the upper mounting plates don't like the change in angle caused by the shorter springs. The plate has a groove worn into it from the motion of turning the wheels, but when you change the length of the springs, it changes the angle the plate rotates on so everything slips out of place and makes that horrible sound. The only fix is new upper mounting plates that don't have a groove worn into them, and they won't make any noise. I had to pay a lot of money to get them to do the front springs twice, plus the cost of the mounting plates. btw it isn't just an annoying sound, the plates were shredding against each other, I went for about 5 days before I changed them and they were about to fall apart.

it depends how worn the original plate were i guess. My car was 5 years old already and had 90,000 miles on it.

where did you get your springs, how much, and how much of a drop did you get out of them?

I had the same issue with mine, you can search my old posts for pics of when it happened. My issue was just as mrmike said....and even with reseating everything, they would be ok for a while, until I took a corner too hard and then they would no longer be seated properly. The mounts were getting litterally chewed up and I would bet that this is the case with yours also.
