Well the dashmat would be cool if you got say, a nice floral pattern... They really remind me of those tea-kettle covers you see at seniors homes haha.

If youre going to paint your interior panels do some research first. My buddy got a shit kia given to him by his parents and he tried to paint it. He let me help out, and all I can say is I've never had as much fun ruining a car before lol.

i saw a guy sand and prime his interior parts, then paint it, and hit it with a few coats of clear coat and it turned out ok.

It would be good if you had a 1975 Alero pimpmobile

Is your dash peeling? If so, I suggest a new dash pash from a guy on eBay with the user name "az*bob" or something like that.

$148.99 shipped, fairly easy to install, if you don't have a gauge pod and matches the orginal color. The only downfall is that it's plastic

mine was peeling so bad... cracking apart from being sun baked.. it literally felt like a potatoe chip on certain parts.. it just crumbled.

this "cap" is only the top portion of the dash isnt it? is there a way to get the dash re vinyled without the purchase of a new one?

What is the big deal with this guy wanting to buy a dashboard cover!

It will protect it from the sun and make it last longer. And we know how bad the dashboards are in these cars.

Do you guys think at all?

...but velour!? andy.. you do realize the 70s ended right??

if you really want a painted dash, i'd suggest going for a fiberglass dashboard.
