Does anyone on here have their car at 25% dark and 25% reflective? Tx state laws prohibits all windows excluding the rear to be no less that 25%. I have no clue what mine is now, but its not dark enough... i just want to see what it would look like

yeah... I like it a lot better casue it gives it a gray hue instead of some of that purple looking business that some tints get over time.

70 is what it comes from the factory...if you were to put the tint gauge on there it would read something like 72%. Trust me, I've been stopped enough times and been to court more than my fair share fighting this same battle. That is why when you throw on 40% (which I did now) it actually reads 33% on the tint gun (as tested in VA, PA and NC for inspection).

I dunno if I'm just a puss or what, but when it's raining and dark out I have a huge bitch of a time seeing out of my side windows and stuff, and it seems like in winter tinted windows get foggier and crap than non tinted. Just something to think about when going for a %.

I've got 20 and I wouldn't want much darker. Me and a buddy tinted his Regal to 5% and it looked sooooo good, but that night we had bad winter weather and he couldn't see a damn thing out of it when we were driving, so he ripped the front 2 off to redo lighter.

Just my $.02

Not true. Michigan law is NO TINT on front windows except for a 4" strip from the top of the windows in whatever darkness you desire (GAY). Rear you can do whatever you want on the entire windows.

in ohio (not sure about other states) is a cop cannot pull you over for just window tint, if he/she pulls you over and asks about tint and tests it and gives you a ticket- you can take it to court as win! because you have to have a moving violation in order to write a ticket for the tint. ha HA cops dont want you to know this xD

unless its raining i usually always have my windows rolled down when im driving. when cops pull me over they really dont have a reason to question the tint because i either get pulled over for 808 or no front license plate, though i get out of 95% of the tickets when they see the air setup in the backseat and want to see how it works haha

tint is a fix-it ticket, having a moving violation should be irrelevant. they can ticket it parked on the side of the road for having illegal darkness.

yes but it wont stand up in court because they wont be able to run the tint scanner on your windows if your windows are rolled up and the door is shut

I know a professional tinter, the stuff he uses doesn't turn purple, and it's not coming off the glass, You'd have to replace it.

The purpleness if from the yellow dye fading quicker than the blue and red dyes in lower quality tints.. at least that's what I've heard.

I have 20% and I think its too much. Can barely see out the windows at night, if at all. I am gonna get them redone. 20 all around except the front 2, which will be 35%

Tip: Get it professionally done or you will hate it and not only waste your money, but your time aswell.
