Hand Brake Adjustment?

Well as a saftie you need your hand brake to work. And mine is stretched for sure. Most cars have a easy adjustment. Yestraday i was looking to see if i could find it and I could'nt.

last month it had to be all the way up befor it grabed now nothing. i can see the springs on a rear brakes working just not enought cable pulling to lock em.

Is thier a ajustment for the alero? or is the cabe stretched and now i have to get a new rear cables?????

disc brakes i know the only thing you can do is re-wind the spring upfront on the bottom of the lever. or get a new cable, but then you will need to wind the spring again anyways.

i looked in the gm service manual at work. mine is the same way right now i used it too much last winter lol

ok for your hand brake if you wanna adjust it,just get the rear discs out and youll see inside it the hand brake system(its like a drum brake system)theres like a gear to roll with a tool, one side is to tight it and the other side is to loose it! This is for the adjustment!
