Don't you just have to angle them down a little more than usual?

If they are true HID then they should come with ballasts. They might just be ultra whites or something.

do yourself a favor and upgrade the stock headlight harnesses, as they will burn out and melt if your using a bulb higher than 55W...

Doesn't Scot have 55W HIDs? I seem to recall from ASS2008 that they were crazy bright.....

just install ballasts and bulbs.
if you want TRUE HIDs, you need projectors. which yes... require modification. Most people run w/o though.

not very big, and wherever you want.
and they aren't hotter, they use the same amount of power as the stock bulbs. they just use the power more efficiently. The pseudo HIDs, the bulbs you can buy that claim they are HID but don't have a ballast, if the wattage is too high, it'll melt the harness and/or housing.
