Nothin really.

I'm filling a stock mount with urethane so there's no space for the rubber to move. Does the same thing.

1. take out mount
2. fill with poly
3. let dry
4. put mount back in

Thanks alot, I'm always interested in hearing of different ways to engineer something.... Oh, and where can I get some poly local auto store or some adhesive website?

What is that? That's not our front transmission mount at all.

It looks similar to this:


Except the stock one has big gaps between the cylinder where the bolt goes, and this one has a bushing that fills the entire area. Mine's torn.

Hm, I found two places selling an alero transmission mount. That's where the pic is from. I thought it was different from the milzy one, but didn't read too much into it. Anyway, thanks Ion I'll add it to the laundry list.

I guess I dont see the point in buying milzy's compared to rsm I mean z-spec's transmission mount...

i don't see the point of spending that money when you have no supporting mods that would warrant the mounts...

What he said applies to both. The gains from the mount increase with the power of your engine. More power = more lost to movement and therefore gained back by the stiffer mount.
