line out again!

ok so i've searched but i can nott find my answer's.....i'm trying to keep my head unit in as i didnt like the flow of an after market . i have a 2001 alero with the monsoon system. dose and one kno what colors the wires are (i need both left and right rears postive and negative(black strip i kno)) should be taping into. also what coulor is the power wire as i'l need that for my amp.

my mistake no i've ran my wires and every thing 4 gauge power 16 gauge for the line outs but i need a wire for the remote turn off an i'm going to be onest i dont want to play around with the fuses an other then that i just need to kno what coulor the rears are thanks

maybe its different for the monsoon, but cant you just look in the trunk where the 6x9s hang down.

if you use the orange wire at the radio harness, the amp will not shut off. If youre talking about the orange ign harness wire youre good to go

umm... you should be able to reach it once the radio is out. Just reach back there and pull the harness out some, cut back the tape to expose the harness. If youre not that experienced dealing with stuff like that, i suggest a fuse tap (much easier)

ok so i can see the line you are talking about (i think lol) but thier is two orange wires how can i tell or do i just have to check with a meter on both of them.. i'm gessing ones in and one out but will it matter(yes i'm gessing) which one. an will i mess up the security system or n.e thing else?


if i were to tap into a fuse would to shut off but it self? (i want it to shut off by it self. lol)
