On a truthful note, we use Nitrogen in the tires on the F-15's I work on just for the reason of reducing condensation.

Yep, 87-0124 last DC/KC-10 off the line and test plane for the wingtip refueling pods. It's now stationed at McQuire, NJ. I had it when it was at Shady J, NC. I miss my plane.

Yeah, I work fifteeners. Why what do you work on?
About the KC-10. Those planes fly smoother and quieter than any commercial plane I ever rode on. You can see in my Avatar my jet 80-0019 getting refueled by a KC-10.

yeah, recognize the boom and the view from the instructor's seat. The AF did right when they bought the 10's very good and reliable jet. There have been several times myself and the other crew chiefs slept on the jet as it was nicer than the billeting provided to us on trips. lol

You should rotate the air in your tires every time you get gas. I've been told that old air can get rather heavy and dirty, cutting a full second off of your 1/4 mile time. You can also try going to a nitrogen. I heard this has twice the life of regular air. I was glad to help out a person in need.

Oh geeezzzz, I didn't get this a joke at first and I was like.. "I thought this guy knew more about cars"
Man, if that were true, I'd change the air in my tires after every run down the track

Pass the beginning of this thread to some Honda site. Then count how many retard ricers are lining up at the gas station hose exchanging their air every day. :huh?:

Actually, helium would make them MUCH lighter. Nitrogen just eliminates condensation and regulates tire pressure.
