Throwing me codes for CES

okay so the check engine light has always been weird with the alero but since im trying to get it up and running again i bout a diagnostic tool to see what the check engine light was bringing up....

this is the codes and what the book it came with says they mean.
P0100-Mass or volume air flow circut malfunction
P0110-intake air temp circut malfunction
P0115-engine coolant temp circut malfunction
P0120-throttle/pedal position sensor/switch A circut malfunction
P1600- this one isnt in the book so im not quite sure what it means...=/

The diagnostic tool is a OBD2 reader

The diagnostic tool tells you what you want to know. If it says a circuit is malfunctioning, FIX THAT CIRCUIT. DUH!!!!

start with the cheapest, do the IAT sensor and work your way up in price and see what fixes it

well the car wont idle, i turn it on and it wont keep running, it shoots a large amount of smoke out of the exhaust, backfires and then dies. so i think im going to just give up and send it to a shop...

im sure you could figure it out but i guess you could take the expensive route as well
