For the rear view all you can do is tighten the screws periodically.

If you have the mirror with map lights, idk. But on mine, theres some small screws that you can tighten.

I lied there's only one. If anyone knows how to make the mirror harder to move I'd also like to know. But I don't think there is.

I just installed two 12" Subs in a ported box in my trunk with a 400watt 2channel amp. WHOA I got some serious RATTLE going on the outside of my trunk.

The loudest of my noise is coming from the panel that has the ALERO logo on the back of the trunk, Just by using my index finger and pressing on the ALERO LOGO the loud rattle is gone 99% I will hire some kid wearing roller blades to hang-onto the back of my car with his finger pressed on the Alero logo I guess...

But really I do not think I have to apply DYNAMAT all over the trunk, just on the factory holes on he trunk, cover all the factory holes might do the twick

For the Middle of the trunk maye add some sort of junk where the back window meets the trunk, and some sort of sealer.,.,.,

whatcha think

Basscar,
Do some searching on "dynamat" and also "trunk rattle" on this site and then Bam, all your worries are over. LOL
I have dynamat in my trunk and also on the rear deck and have VERY minimal rattle.

We've gone over this be for. The "panel" can be fixed with http://www.uline.com/Grp_240/3M-VHB-Tapes, you can pick this stuff up at auto zone, http://www.uline.com/BL_6050/3M-4926...ylic-Foam-Tape. Just get the panel off where you can get the tape in. Don't remove the red stuff till you have the tape in place on the panel or the trunk lid, once that tape it on there its not coming off, EVER. Its been on my car for 5 years now and shows no sign of letting up.

The other rattle from the plastic trim piece that comes off the rear window and meets to the trunk lid can be fix with some thin foam.
