Will be getting a legit clamp ASAP.

I'll go to the good Midas on Friday and have my flexpipe and hanger situation taken care of on the cheap.

I swear for how much work you put into your car, half of your headaches are because you cheap out on shitty parts.

DO IT RIGHT!!! Stainless Steel Vibrant V-band Flanges!! Never loosen!!

My fabricator gave me the v-band stuff for free... it was left over brand new parts he had laying around, so we put it on because we had it, and it sealed fine until the silicone gasket failed...

I ordered a $40 clamp the other day, it should be here tomorrow... geez

Free is nice, but now its costing you more time. I would have said no, i'll take a real one right off the bat.

I spent almost $300 for SS vband flanges on my headers, and that's just the parts, no labor......

Chris......He is right in aspects. Dood think how much money you have put in your car in what the past 2 years. could have built right once doing everything top notch and been running 12's for a year.

However I give you credit for not letting it get you down and throwing the car away so kudos there.

Also you know better on a lot of this stuff but you really never bitch you just turn it into a teaching moment which is great.
