I have a 2001 2.4L Sedan. Is there a battery mounting kit available that allows me to mount my battery securely towards me when I'm in the driver's seat? I have it tied down really tight right now, but I want to clean it up a bit. Basically what I have right now is the aftermarket warm air intake pipe/filter where the battery used to be (front left corner) and the battery moved towards the driver (me). Also, I was wondering if any of you knew where I could find some good intake pipes/couplers so I can replace the rest of the stock intake around the throttle body. I'm trying to find a good elbow coupler (I don't know what diameter the throttle body is stock), and a 3" diameter tube about a foot in length. Any suggestions?

Is there any particular reason why you don't want the aem intake (video of it on an Alero)? I think you can get a knockoff of this intake on ebay for dirt cheap, if you don't mind buying cheap parts. If you still wanna move the battery, get a relocation kit for like $40 from summitracing.com. Then it will be in your trunk and help to even out your weight distribution a little bit. With the AEM intake, there will be no need to relocate the battery though.

I got the idea from this picture with the exception that I don't have a supercharger:
The battery was moved and mounted somehow
What I have right now is a cone filter and a slightly bent 3" diameter aluminum pipe so if I could find some straight pipe, elbow coupler, and whatever diameter elbow thing mounts to the throttle body (any idea?) I could finish removing the plastic stock intake around the intake manifold to clean it up a bit and have a fully metal one.

Mines a Cavy intake I had no probs what so ever, with the battery. You could always email RSM Racing they are really nice people, they would probably tell you how to do it.
