have the same rotors on my car for about a year and 3 months and they work great. make sure to get new pad with the rotor because old pads will ruin the new rotors.

They look fine. I went with full ceramic, they make a little bit of noise when i stop and some people say that they are too hard for stock style rotors which these are since they are oem then drilled. But they dont create any dust at all and i love that. I havent noticed any warpage in my rotors either and i have had the ceramics on them for more than a year now. But i paid almost twice what those pads are so go for those, you will be happy with it.

LMAO Id like to see him brake after that !

As for the brakes, I've ordered R1 with semi-met pads last week. Happy to see so many members got them and are satisfied.

Funny shit..

But ceramic's are amazing..

Hands down the best I ever bought, they wore so extremly slow I loved em..

They lasted a long long time, which is uncommon for Aleros..

I used them on stock rotors..

The original factory pads on Aleros are ceramic. That's why I went with ceramic replacements. They squeak and squeal quite a bit now, but that's because I need new clips and bolts...should have replaced them with the pads/rotors. And FWIW, Autozone's Duralast GOLD pads are always made from the same type and grade materials that the vehicle came with from the factory...that's how I know Aleros are ceramic.

^^^It's actually called caliper lubricant, and it's for the slide bolts/pins, not the rotors. I always use it anytime I do a brake job, but if the pins and anti-rattle clips are too worn out, you're gonna get squeaking no matter what you do. We sell it in bottles that'll last you forever, or little one time use packets if you don't work on brakes often. Note: DON'T PUT IT ON THE PAD SURFACE OR THE ROTOR!!! Actually, never put anything but brake cleaner on either of those.

baer are decent. i would recommend them over SSBC. even cheaper would be to do what Cliff did with the GM upgrade.

Or go all out for a full custom Brembo setup

After putting my SSBC kit on mine.. I agree w/ scott. Baer are better in hardware. But my SSBC stops pretty damn well though. But SSBC looks and/or cheaply made.

billy you missed what i said. Those semi metallics wont squeak, i was comparing them to my ceramics which do squeak and creak. Get the ones from r1 they are a good product at a reasonable price.

There should be some 16s that fit. The STOCK 16s just don't fit. I've heard that stock W-Body 16s work.
