Mines a 4 banger.... Ecotec, however with the fit of my bar i dont see a 3.4L being a fit problem.

i have the ecotec also....but im pretty sure it shouldnt matter what engine you have, it fit like a glove, and there was plenty of room for adjustment if i would have needed it to be longer or shorter

it fits bolt wise but if you try to mount it right side up the hood will not close. i have one mounted upside down, it works fine you can still feel it but the hood still closes a tad hard sine the bracket that connects the mounts to the bar itself still makes contact with the hood. overall its not too bad, you dont have to force the hood to shut more than a small push so i decided that it wouldnt harm it too much. if you wanna try it check ebay i got a cavy stb for $12, its the 95-03 cavy bar that fits by the way.

I have an SLP front brace, and a Speedbuilt rear brace. They work great. Took some modifications and finagling, but I got the rear one to fit right. Sometimes bolt ons just don't bolt on! LOL
