Cosmo Racing
Anyone have any input on Cosmo Racing Short Throw Shifters and WAI?
I was thinking I could return the B&M and buy these two things...

together, those two things are cheaper than the B&M lol. And I get twice the performance... Same either way with the throw % and an extra few HP with a better Ram Air than my custom WAI.

Keep the B&M. It's probably the best short shifter you can buy. No point in getting rid of a high quality part just to get another one of lower quality. Just get the new intake in addition to the B&M.

LAF^
The center ball join is like a fulcrum. And the shorter the handle is from the end to this ball join, the shorter the throws will be. This is a true short throw shifter. Hence all that makes a short throw is a shorter handle. There is no other type... This is the same as the B&M. There is no way if the handle is shorter, the throws are not shorter... Short throw is truly meant for ergonomics, not really performance...

hence, if u cut ur standard shifter, it makes it a short throw...

and if the handle is shorter, than that means between the top and central joint, because the joint cannot be moved for mounting reasons
So basically u are saying the B&M isn't a true short shifter... Because it works the same way and is the exact same size. Throws will not feel more than about 10% shorter, but u have to do the math with the ratio of ur own throw compared to the base. both ends. That is how they come up with their # of 30some percent.

negative, they cannot be different. Otherwise u would have to modify the mounting or the cable lengths.
if u shortened the distance between the balls, it would make for larger throw distances for the human, and little distances for the bottom. Meaning that would be a increased throw shifter haha.
no worries about the grammer. fumes from what?
