Best Spark Plugs for tune up
Ok so i searched the threads.. found nothing.
Stock 3400 w/ a Cone Filter on the MAF
got NGK V-Power in them from my last tune up 35k miles ago
Car is running ok. one of the plugs is starting to eff up.
What would be a good idea for plugs. I tried searching for the AC Delco Rapid Fires.. but nobody stocks em anymore and heard they no longer produce em. and also heard that NGK produces AC Delco plugs.
Would the G-Power Platinum plugs be perfect for my car ? or any advice on what should i use.. im working w/ a budget too.
I just don't want to get plugs then foul out 5-10k down the road
Also forgot to add. I have no catalytic converter but i will be replacing within the next few months w/ a hi flow

I actually remember reading a long thread about spark plugs.... some people had diff results. I been using NGK without any problems whatsoever.

Yay!!! I remembered the right numbers!! Canadiantire guy said they were for the 2000 - 2004, not the 1999. Same engine, so I got them anyway. Then he said that the Platinum one where recommended for the 1999, and that was why they never listed the Iridiums as being for the 1999 model. Got them anyway. CAN$18.xx for two. Wondering if I should go with new wires, just to be safe?? Pretty sure the originals are still on. If I get new wires, what is recommended?? (maybe blue ones to match my car paint colour??

i went in to get an oil pan bolt.. and the tard behind the counter directed me over to the standard nuts and bolts.
I looked at him like.. Then specified... "...the bolt you remove to drain the oil..." (in bolt where is where is started talking slow, like he didn't speak english)
he said "yep.. thats these, you need to know what size and length"
"wow... you can't be more wrong. thanks" And i went to NAPA. No more autozone for me. (unless its something super common that i know where it is)

Carquest is the spot here.
Delco plugs are supposedly the best for aleros. I didn't know anyone made plugs besides NGK until i was about 16.
