Good site but not exactly what I am looking for, I want a site with directions to just plain Sub Boxes so I can make a custom exact box for the subs I buy plus it will be way cheaper to build then buy.

Cant I alwasy biuld a wood one and instead of carpeting it Cant I put Fiberglass Body filler on it and paint it all up? but I probably will just carpet it, if I happen to biuld one. I actaully have 2 10 inch sub boxes I guess I could use but I would wanna make them different I have a Idea of recessing the amp in between the subs.

For me its not about having the glassed look but rather relocating the sub to the recessed left and right parts of our trunk, like writies.

Damn is it hard to take Carpet of from old boxes. I just took the last 1.5 hours just doing one box and I didnt even do the bottom. THe boxes are made of only 1/2 in MDF, so I think probably cover the boxes in either another 1/4 inch of MDF or maby if you guys think it will work maby just a 1/8th inch of what my dad calls Luna Board, to just cover the old boxes you and to do the recessed amp, or do you think it would rattle a tad bit?

I started my sub box it is very rough atm. It became quite aparent that the amp wont fit in between 2 10inch subs with the 39inches of trunk space I have, so I plan on mounting the amp on the back. What do you guys think? do you think that the wood I used will rattle to much? I think it is pretty solid, I plan on just leaving a Dead spot in Between the subs but it will be all covered up front and back. Anyone know a good site to buy BLACK carpetting and spray adhesive?

You might have a vibration problem with that 1/8 in. stuff. Also I have heard it isn't good to mount amps on the sub box because they rattle so much it will ruin the amp.

Yeah it is CHAP <_< It is very rough atm as I said, I have pretty extensive wood working skills and I also have about 2 months before the Subs and amp will be bought so I am sure it will be done by then. Do you think I will need ports or should I leave then like they are with no ports?

Unless you know what you are doing, do not port the box. Not all subs will work well in a ported enclosure and wrong port lengths can cause drastic peaks in the sub enclosure efficiency.
