most of the 3400 performance people are overseas right now.
the rest of us are too busy keeping it running, rather then beefing the engine. we're definitely having a lul.

No, they don't necessarily "take up more fuel," they may need higher octane fuel..........and my car is a daily driver, too. It does help quite a bit to have a second car available, though.

I'm pretty sure if Ben has a question about performance and the 3400 none of us will know the answer. Ben knows the 3400 inside and out.
I think Ben was getting at why doesn't the 3400 section have a performance section.

I would love to talk more preformance on here, but they is only like 7 or 8 guys (myself included) that do actual performance mods to the car.

By the way, I spent about a half-hour reinstating pictures on a previous thread, and was going to continue it with new pics and discussion, but now the thread comes up blank:

What's up with that?

Ben's site (60degreev6.com) is a pretty good site. I learned a lot from that site, but sometimes the talk gets way too techanical for me and I just get lost.
I am going to start gathing parts soon. Can't right now though. The ecomony hurts. I'm not in debt, but I'm not saving any money either. The LIMG bill isn't helping this either

I think he was referring to the title being "3400 performance" yet the subforum is filled with maintance/repair questions NOT performance questions.
my only possible answer for that is... anyone who is seriously looking into it, knows to go to your forum, ben.
