Ok so I finally got pulled over for my tint. That, and my license plate cover. I don't want to pay anyone to take it off the tint, so what solution should i use to get the stickys off after i rip it off myself??

peel it off, then spray the window with windex or whatever and use a flat razor and go up and down to scrap off the glue

at any decal shop or graphic shop where they do vinyl decals they have stuff called "rapid remove" well... usually they have that ... the place i worked had it... and it works brilliantly for pretty much anything that's stuck on windows or whatever else you wanna take it off

I just peeled mine off a couple weeks ago....just use a sharp razor blade to start peeling it from the window. After you get it started, you really don't need the razor, just go slow. When you're all done, just use some glass cleaner and another sharp razor to go over the window. Took me 2 razors and 15 minutes to complete...

I had the same exact situation recently, my tint and license plate cover. Just use a razor blade to peel back the edge, and then you can pull it off by hand. To get any residue off, go to Wal-Mart auto section and they have "Tint Off". Works great, you'll use a lot of it to get everything off though so you may want 2 bottles of it. Also, as you are peeling back the tint, continuously spray the "Tint Off" between the tint and window to help seperate, this will leave less residue afterwards. Hope this helps, good luck.

Another helpful tip, when you're peeling it off, spray some windex on the window as you're peeling it off. Like, get a good start on peeling it and spray as you peel, in the crease. This method gets the whole peice of tint off at one time rather than little strips at one time. It worked on my Talon. Hope you get what I'm saying.. kinda hard to explain without showing you.

^ not only does that help getting it done in one piece, you're also preventing the sticky goo from staying on your window.
