So i'm thinking about cutting my intrax springs b/c personally I dont think they are low enough...
My friend cut his eibach's on his prelude... sits alot lower and more rigid now.
Anyone done this? Thought about this?
UPDATE: My new motor was put in today... i'll finally have it back mon!

wow what a novel idea :Noooo:
if you want to go lower save up for some coil overs or air ride. then sell your intrax springs....

if ur gonna hack up springs, do it to your stocks. dont waste ~200 bucks. the springs will NOT sit right on the perch if you hack em. you'd have to hack a bit off em, then torch em flat. if youre into takin risks like having springs snap while drivin down the road i say go for it.
You're options are now Springtech/Sprint lowering springs, or air ride. I don't make coilovers anymore and nice ones cost almost as much as air now.

exactly how far down do you want to go. Inrax go what 1.75 and sprint will give you another half an inch?

I want to go with some air ride but a little too much money right now, probably worth the wait though intstead of springs.

^ word. Don't chew up some perfectly good springs and potentially completely ruin your car, when you could just save up some money and buy the better option (and then sell the springs you didn't like!)
