I was leaving work this morning and tried to roll down the window and it started to shift so I tried to roll it up. It straightened up but sliped down into the door.

Now my car is ready for the cover of Ghetto Weekly with the trash bag over the window. I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow after work.

Warranties are a life saver. less than a year after I bought my car I had the window , the front wheel baring, and my intake gasket all go out within like a two month time period.

Wow, I guess I am one lucky man. I have not had any troubles with my car since I bought it. (knock on wood) Hopefully, the quality will hold up for a long time to come.

that sucks, glad you had that fixed and the tint wasnt touched. Does that more so happen to manual windows instead of automatic. I'm sure it can happen to an automatic, but i'm sure it happens more to manuals. Hey sometimes in the windown my driver side window gets frozen shut and i cant open for anything.

accually it probibly would happen more with power windows cause you can't control how much force is applied to them. And if your window ever freezes shut do not try to get it open.....just wait till the car warms up. If you try to force it you are putting unneccessry strain on already brittle plastic parts. Thats how mine broke.

mine gave out too about 2 years ago. what actually broke was the window sits in 2 slots. and these then go into the slide. well the windows holders have plastic clips that hold everything straight so your window doesn't tip on up or down.

so i got everything back in place. had to redo the cable also. and within that same week i get hit on the driver side rear and it knocked the window out a again. so her insurance paid for new window and everything to fix it.

My power driverside window stopped working about a month ago, but I didn't put any strain on it. It worked in the morning and then just stopped later in the day when I was going to get some drive thru! Had to try and open my door without smashing it into that little window that sticks away fromt he building...

I was hoping it was some loose wiring or something.... I was going to tryu and open up the door panel and check it before going to the dealer (no warrenty here ) Does anybody know of that happening... or how to get the door panel off????

I'm not too worried about it right now becuase the temperature up here has been around -35C (approx. -30F) for the last month or so with the windchill, so I'm not using my windows for anything.

Thanks for any help....
