Ok so heres the deal. A local customs shop did a paint job like this for a guys sunfire. I'm thinkin of doing the same thing but with royal blue or burnt orange bottom. And instead of the flame a tribal design.
What do you guys think
My car

I'm not sure that would work with an Alero...or just as good. An Alero is not as curvaceous as a sunfire.

my feelings are, that you need to lower it, put new wheels on it, and get the bodykit first. thatys plenty of money and time. however, the paintjob is very nice and may not look bad. just remember that it's going to cost a pretty penny. good luck tho.

imo you need to do a lot more to the car before its worth a custom paint job. from the looks of it you need everything said above and then maybe some interior work before custom paint is worth the price imo since if you end up getting a kit ever it will suck to match and you will be paying to paint stuff twice (stock bumpers then the kit ones)

Thats prolly why he has won countless shows, Including big shows and small ones.
Might also be why he is sponsored and the sponsors that dont have him signed want him bad.
I guess your taste is different than other peoples.

word. it's not just a matter of opinion here. It's really bad.
On THAT paintjob, I would say "no" for it to be on an Alero. The dividing sliver line goes around the headlights nicely on the Sunfire. You'll never get a smooth line like that on the Alero...especially a 4-door.
And I thought you wanted to be original? Then you plan on copying somebody else's custom paintjob?

I think that style would look great on a hoe... I just would pick a different color scheme... like make the white border like orange or something.

YOu read pretty good, becuase if you look at the first thing on this thread i said i would change the lines to work for the alero, and i said i was gonna make the flame a tribal design or a dragon or something. Oh yea i also said i wanted to have an original ALERO That is a SUNFIRE
:shout: And i didnt ask what you thought about my spoiler, I asked about the paint job.
DOnt be so stupid. It gets old when you're constantly hatin. :shout:

okay, you're reading too deep into things.
1) A paintjob is a major decision and every part of your car comes into play...including the Erector set.
2) Fine, take ideas from other cars...just take notice of pretty much anybpdy else that has wanted a multi-color Alero with the color split that goes along the side: they typically come out horrible.
3) I'm not hating. You asked for opinions. You didn't ask for brown-nosing.

This is a very ugly idea of what im hoping it will look like in the end. Of course the colors wont be so bright and thick but im not so good with photoshop or paint.
