A while back coming out of work I realized my mirror was hanging, looks like someone hit it somehow backing out, there's this set of maybe 8 parallel scratches on the mirror.
I haven't even touch my mirrors yet, I can't even see where it "snapped" off, All I know is that it doesn't clip into anything when i try and fit it back on, I don't see the clips or maybe I'm just not seeing them
To fix it i've had it wrapped with electrical tape to make do for now
Question I have is, what connects the mirror, can i throw something on it to fix it or am I gonna need to replace it alltogether, if so..
how much, where to buy, how to install if possible
The electrical control still works fine, the mirror is simply disconnected at the split where it's supposed to bend a bit. It's still taped, I can't say nothin bad about electrical tape anymore.. heh

I believe its springs that hold the 2 pieces together so the mirror can give a bit if someone hits it so it dosn't break ( well i uess it didn't work know did it).

go buy one from a wrecker they are really easy to install just remove your tweeter covering it and there is 3 bolts just unscrew and then you have to pull back your door pannel and un hook the power mirror it is really simple.

well its not for everybody, but i personally think mirrors are ugly, they are like little nasty ears hanging on the side of a nice clean car. I dont own anything with side views, I even shaved em off my girls ride.

yeah i understand what you mean about the clean car thing but i thought there were laws about having sideviews? i could be mistaken and it could be different for each state
