Goin' to Ohio on the 3rd to have Mike give the car the complete package. From what I've seen he is the "go to guy"! Getting his heads, cam, push rods, timing chain, upper and lower intakes, tuning, and a couple of surprises that I can't let out of the bag yet!!! I will be the first for a couple of items, I think, that we are getting into. Any of you have any Milzy stories to share, post em' up!!

To be completely honest I feel that you can have the same HP gains for about half the price as MMS

I guess to determine if "half the price" was true or not, we'd have to wait and see two things:

1) what the couple of surprises are

2) what the final price is, installed. Never know, MMS might have "sponsored" him, heh

How do I figure,

1. There are places that charge less than $1100 for a set of ported heads and they include Flow #'s Same goes for Intake manifolds.

2. Cams can be reground for under $150

3. Milzy is charging $800 for a catback when you can get a borla for $687 or a SLP for $429

I am sure I can find more, but I would rather prove it in a few months

I am not bashing MMS at all I know they offer good products. What I am saying is there are cheaper ways to get to the same HP point and still have a reliable engine.

No one here is bashing anyone. I have very strong ties to a competitor, however, I am glad you are finding excitement in your performance build regardless.

I think the point is, you will be spending WAY more on what you're doing, and could have gotten the same quality and performance level for much less, and spent that extra money in another area of performance, or adding even more HP.

Either way, enjoy your mods.

-Peace-

I wouldn't say WAY cheaper. Cheaper, with comparible results.

However, I have yet to see a anyone with similar track times on a non-boosted streetable, setup, (ie with a regrind and 'head' job).

Anyways, good luck with your mods. Milzy is a good guy. sorry to be defensive, but I get a little tired of the same arguments on every board I visit.

Keep in mind, Milzy has flow numbers too.... whoooopeeee

I would like to see Milzy's flow #'s several people have asked and he will not release the info. Flow is not everything, but it does play a part in the performance equation.

True, but if you see quarter mile times and dyno numbers, that should be more than enough.

However, each set of Milzy's heads is flow tested. I'm sure if you are truly interested in a purchase, those numbers could be made available upon request.

(a little birdy told me 230cfm... not sure what that means to anyone.... )

230 CFM at what lift .500? .550? .600? .650? 230 CFM doesn't mean anything with out lift #'s.

I know the 1/4 mile #'s speak for them self however let's say you are going with a turbo motor, you will want each cylinder to flow with in a certain percentage of each other for maximum gain. The flow #'s do play a bigger role when going with forced induction.

Also if Milzy claims to have the best heads out there then why not prove that fact with flow data since he apparently has it?
