I'm wanting to get new rims for my Alero..... I have two picked out that I really like.... But I would love some feedback from my fellow Alero people! thanks!
This one only comes in 18s..... I really like it though...
This one is my favorite... and if I get this one, I'll be getting it in 17s... It's a little cheaper, but I like it more.
So let me know what you all think... Thanks!

Ick.. I actually like the second one better. Something about the neck-tie-shaped indentation in the spokes of the first one just says "no" to me.
And yes, GO WITH 18's. You will kick yourself later if you don't.

I heard that 18s can make your speedometer be off by about 5 mph..... That's why I was going to go with 17s...

these peolple do ntknow what they are talkin about. get the 2nd ones but get them in 18's.
rfl ur car looks like that cause like u said it not lowered AND u have a really low profile tire on there. if u put a tire thats abit taller on there and put sprint springs on ud be fine

If the person you go to knows anything about plus sizing, the speed difference is minimal (like <1.5 MPH at 60).

Rims 1
Rims 2
----Can somebody help me as well---- same prices on both. Also what size would be best for the 1st wheel design. I see there is alot of variations of 18"x7.5" thanks

its not all true about the spedometer either. If you have 16s stock with 6 iches of rubber then get 18s with 4 inches of rubber. it shouldnt change much

When you buy your tires get the following size and you will have the same overall size and there will be very minimal difference to no difference in your speedometer.
18s ----> 235/40/18 actually OLDSMAN has 255s on his 18s
17s ----> 225/45/17 maybe even 235s but i dunno for sure
EDIT: I found the reference for OLDSMAN

you will have NO problems with that size.
i'm running 255/40r18 up front and can turn lock to lock.
so to answer the max width i would say 9" wide sidewall to sidewall and that is at a 26" diameter tire.

the 1st one looks like it belongs on an SUV.
Turboalero had some (I think) similar to the 2nd ones and they looked great.
