i honestly dont know much about your speaker. the db 460 is ok. i always prefer a regular speaker to a plate but thats just me.

crutchfield has em for 67.99

I have polk 4x6's in the doors and they fit perfect. They arn't the plates but I dont think they would alter the mounting setup because they want them to be a uni-fit speaker. Try contacting Polk and check just to be safe.

I have 4x6 in my door. All 4x6 should be able to fit in your door because of the mount in there. I had to use some fender washers and new bolts to put mine in because the pioneer 4x6's i put in my door did give me long enough screws and wasnt on that tight.

only problem being the depth of the speaker. might be too deep to fit...i think he'll be fine though

Polk 4x6 plate speakers sound like garbage.......I bought some then returned them 10 minutes after installing them....they sounded literally WORSE than the stock speakers. I would reconsider your choice.

i believe hes going with the db 460's which makes a hell of a lot more sense considering he's upgrading his tweeters anyway.

and yeah, doesnt matter if you are putting in a new headunit..im still saying those wires are fine if you arent amplifying them with anything more than the head unit.

Yea I'm going with the 460s. I've been reading a lot of bad reviews about the plates.
