hey, so i was thinkin it would look pretty sharp if i got a grand am hood with the hood scoops? if you want to call them that and put that on my alero. anyone know if it will fit.

you talking about changing out the WHOLE hood or just adding scoops to your alero hood?

GA hood doesnt bolt up to the alero.

the mounting panel for the light and the wiring harnesses too. the wiring is the only thing that doesn't bolt up directly. (I think that the GA's use some different bulbs, so of course you would need different sockets...)

would there be anyway to cut around the scoops in a large section on the grand am hood, then trace that on the alero hood, and cut it out. then weld in the scoop section? that would be the easiest way in my mind. i was thinking of doing this with a mustang hood with an inverted scoop at the back. just an idea. then you wouldn't have to do a front end replacement.
