Okay. I didn't touch any electronics at all today. All I did was vacuum my carpets with a cordless vac. All my doors and my trunk are all closed, yet the interior lights are still on.

Any ideas?

I have the dome lights all set to off. its the lights by the feet and on the mirror that stay on.

BTW: the horn still honks when I lock the doors from outside the car...so I think there is something going on with the trunk sensor...wherever that exactly is.

okay, it's getting late...and DARK. How do I unhook the lights on the mirror so I don't drain my battery overnight? (not cutting them...they are handy when they co-operate. :P )

nevermind...I unplugged the whole mirror...

well, I pulled the foot lights' bulbs. that was no problem as they are exposed. but if the bulbs in the mirror ever burnt out, I'd me SOL. And I edited my previous reply: I already unplugged the mirror.

couldnt you just take off the lens on the mirror and take out the bulbs?

looks like you could just pry it off

you probably could, but it is much easier to unplug the mirror. At least it is at night.

the sensor for my drivers door went bad. It's actually built into the latch. I just unhooked it, kinda sucks.

this is another case of "my car fixed itself". I really don't know what was wrong, or how it was resolved, but it works the way it was supposed to now. (and I didn't do that battery unhooking trick...)
