I'm thinking about getting a set of indiglow's for my ride. But i am wondering if it is possible to get them to only be on the bottom 4 gauges and not on the dummy lights. Also, where can I get a set?

there are no indiglow gauges that don't show the white over the warning lights. I wouldn't suggest cutting them either.

If you get the halo style gauges (which are extremely rare, unless you get the unbalanced looking ones from SR Motorsport), you can use tint to cover them, so it will look black durring the day, and the lights would still shine through.

Oh yeah, thanks for adding that Naich, the guages I am talking about cover the areas you want but they are just gauge overlays.

the older halo style gauges that I used to sell, well they stopped making them a while ago. Some ppl on ebay might have a set or 2 left, but every place I tried to contact had already sold out.

SR Motorsport made a similar halo-style set, but there are several differences. The original halos had even-sized rings around all of the gauge needles (temp, tach, speedo, and fuel). The SR motorsport only has rings around the tach and speedo, and the tach one is like 3x as large as the speedo one. The temp and gas gauges just have numbers that light up.

Those are actually the ones I own and I think the look good. My only complaint is that the temp side is either miss cut or miss printed because inorder to get the warning lights to line up you have to have the hole for the needle horribly off center, but that doen't bother me to much as if those lights light up on that side than I have moe worries than seeing them lined up. Other than that though i would not trade them for the world. I don't have the hum everyon is talking aout either

I know if you cut the standard indiglow gauges, it wouldn't light up, because the electroluminescent material wouldn't be to complete the circuit. I'm not sure with the halo style, because I don't know how its set up. It will probably not work, but I can't say for sure. But if you get the halo style, why not just use tint to cover the upper half by the dummy lights? It would look black durring the day, and as long as you lined it up correctly it would let the warning lights shine through.
