I just recieved my springs from www.canuckmotorsports.com. just wondering which i s the front and which is the rear lol i know stupid question im thinking the fatter ones for the back and the ones that coil in tighter are the front thanx guys

No, its the other way around.
Here is a good idea genious, go outside and look at your stock springs.
Hope your not installing those yourself lol

fewer coils = stiffer spring... stiffer spring goes where the most wieght is... most wieght is in the front... at's not that hard to do... good luck with it...

thanx boys and no i cant install them..no spring compressor. meh, what a good price for getting them changed out $50 CAD per wheel? i think i got a guy lined up he said $150 for all. thanks again guys best site EVAR!

$150 to install isnt bad.

i dont know how much drop the springs u got will give u..... but if they are comparable to intrax u dont need a spring compressor to install them. but if uve never attempted this type of work befor i dont recommend doing it anyways

^ I needed a compressor for the rears, but not for the fronts. (and I only paid $60 and lunch for my install....had a friend help out...)

true that I'm not big and burly, but I'm still no girly man. lol

I just didn't have enough hands to compress the spring and tighten the bolt on top at the same time. (friend did driver side, I did passenger)

Spring compressors are cheap. Princess Auto has them for $39.99 CAD for the ones in a case. They had a cheaper set for around 20. Make sure to get an alignment after you install them.

I never use a spring compressor, just have a freind push down on them for you, thats all we do.
