took off my hood scoop

well i took it off today. its now sold. i got the ss hood scoop in the mail but it would have taken lots and lots of work to get it onto my hood and i dont feel like dropping 700 on it. so no more scoop for my car

So now I can say I never liked it? The idea of something that actually slows down your car when it's supposed to make people think it's fast just bothers me. IMO, looks better now.

ya good point........ the scoop was basically in the same class as ur Type-S sticker :rolleyes:

My sticker is meant as a joke, and it doesn't actually slow me down.

i really doubt that scoop slowed my car down that much. i dont race it on a track or anything. but oh well. it looks good w/o

I liked the way the scoop looked, but it still looks good.

That scoop was ugly, an "SS" scoop, as in a Camaro SS scoop, would've looked nice... aerodynamics be damned

I like the decals along the sides of the hood

I can't decide if I like the decals w/o the scoop...they seem out of place. I don't know maybe I need to see a side pic.

I think it looks better now, although I won't recognize your car as well now that the hood scoop is gone, but I am glad its gone.

i liked it better with the scoop..still looks nice..your car though.

the scoop looked ass ugly imo, Im glad its gone get rid of the decals on the hood and you will have a really clean ride.

I personally liked the hood scoop you had. Very unique. Was kind was it?

yeah, aerodynamics were ruined with that hood scoop.........i mean since aleros are just speed machines, topping out at a whole 107mph, that scoop prolly chopped 2 seconds off your quarter mile ET. Get real people. That scoop wouldnt make a DAMN bit of differance. Thinkin it slowed your down has got to be the dumbest thing ive ever heard.
