Sorry for the lack of posts lately - been busy as all, heck. Anyway, to make a long story short, hit a deer. Or as I say it, helped it across the street. As for the damage - looking out the window at the 'Ho right now... definately a new hood is being put on.
I've looked around the site, thrown a couple posts in threads, PM'ed a couple people, but still don't have any info on how to get a hood. The insurance company and body shop are all for throwing the CF or FG hood on. I would personally want a CF Hood... which leaves me asking you all...
Where and How do I get one?
Thanks,
Ej.

As far asI know those hoods were discontinued, so I think you have to find one form someone who already has one. Or have one made for yourself.
I know there was atleast one hood for sale recently.
heres the link

yeah, check in the bazaar section. i know it's painted red, but it's still the carbon fiber hood. doesn't fit very well in the pictures, but it's up to you.

If you are going to have it painted, I have one I could get rid of.

If you want a Fiberglass one, try eBay. I sent messages to a whole bunch of sellers once and there were a couple that were not steel. They don't advertise the fact, they are just selling OEM replacement hoods.

try to PM or email CrazyTaxi or SikMindz. One of them was the one making (or having them made) before. I dont think that site is up anymore though, but I think it was www.AleroStyle.com

Crazytaxi was the one who organized the making and selling of the hoods. Oldsman said that he has been crazy busy lately but, still give him a try.

What condition is it in (in ref. to "a little work"), and do you have any pictures?
