I was thinking of painting the Aluminum on the Ecotec a gloss colour, such as Dark Blue... just looking for any insight or ideas as to what other colours would look good.

And I think that's what shall be done... the "plastic" piece on top though will be repainted to a gloss Navy Blue.

The car for now is a dark green - however - it will be repainted black/red/silver. As for the 2.2, it's still stock - new headers and intake are going on as soon as they arrive. No hosings or casings either.

The CAI is already ordered, and the headers will be ordered soon. I'm leaving on excercise on Friday and wont be back for about 40 days. The Hood's already going to be black.
In July I plan on doing the spoiler and fuel cap. The Black/Red/Silver paint scheme wont be finished until the front/rear bumpers and side skirts are finished. Because of the tour in August, I wont have a chance to get to it until next Feb, but I hope to be done by next April.

Far out man! (literally) Nice to have a goal to work towards though
Have you ever photoshopped what your paint scheme will look like at all? I'm curious to see what you mean

I've tossed around some ideas with Daytona, but so far, it's been just rough ideas. As soon as I have something concrete, it'll be posted.

First Alero Nascar... leaves a lot of options, but a lot of headaches. The amount of time to get everything drawn up as a one-off, design, plan, mix and match... don't get me wrong though, I know I'm not alone. And besides, this Ho's been givin me the time of my life.
You're right though, Polish/Chrome.
