Anyone who has done this, what kind of paint did you use? Can you just use high intensity heat paint, or do i have to purchase the actual brake caliper paint?

+ If anyone has any pics of this done on their alero

Thx

I used VHT brake caliper paint from autozone, like 5 bux for a can. I've had it on for about 5 or 6 months and surprisingly no chips or fade.

I used automotive paint (ie. Touch Up Spray Cans color matched) with no problems. Had it on for about 2 years now. Just prep the surface good and you can use any paint.

Just about anything will work, unless you race your car and you plan on getting your calipers really hot, then I would use high temp engine paint.
