I got an idea today to take and mount them inside the headlights and use a regular 9006 bulb inside. it doesn't look to be that hard. i just need a set of donor headlights and some time. do you guys think it would make them like a regular projector light?

Yeah, but I don't think they mounted the OEM fogs inside the OEM headlight housing.

Actually, if I remeber correctly, they took the projector from either a mercedes or BMW from a junkyard. If they did use the stock fog, they probably just used the projector lense, not the entire unit, which I was suggesting.

will look horrible dude.........
the light wont be half as bright as it hsould be. the foglight projectors are incredibly small, nothing compared to a E series projector.
hell i didnt like the stock fog projector so much i went and made my own. :P

You'd be better off using a set of Hella 90mm headlights. A little modification and you could make them work, and they aren't really expensive, maybe $150/pr at most.
