on an Alero? Don't do it. I think Marc said it best. Coupes with no frame around the windows look best with that.

If you are going to spend that kind of money on a door conversion IMO you should suicide the doors and shave the handels. I think you would be much happier with the result.

i voted for automatic. i like the look of lambos, and it would be unique. go for it if you want them.
then, tell us what route you went (ie. paying someone else, or buying the parts and doing it yourself)

well, there's a direct bolt on kit available, but you'll probably have to roll you fenders some where they meet with the door. adds some ugly panel gaps. ewww
