Hey all just thought I'd give a shout...
Today I put a deposit on a 99 Alero GL coupe (V6). Don't know the exact color name but it's like a forest green. It already has some pretty dark tint on the rear windshield and side windows (guessing 20%). There's a thick tint strip across the windshield that I haven't decided if I'm going to remove or not (I would prefer if it were faded rather than hard edged). There's also some gold pin striping along the side as well as a tow hitch that I know I'll remove both of those.
You my have seen me from n-body.net, I had a 97 Achivea that was recently totaled. As of now, I'm waiting for my insurance check to arrive and a response for a loan approval. Once those are all set, I'll finalize the purchase. I'm hoping to get the car before the end of the week.
here's my previous car:

Thanks for the welcomes.
The accident happened right in front of my house. Quick version.. the guy was trying to park behind but "slipped" on the gas. A cop was there and wrote a report (no tickets). The other guy's insurance wanted to settle with $1700 at first but then went up to $3k sine we had a set value on the car of $4k through our insurance. They didn't meet it so we went through ours, they took my car, after I stripped off everything I could. Went car shopping and here I am now.

Ditto, and I'm not usually a fan of Achievas, so it takes alot for me to say that
Welcome by the way

Thanks for the replys again.
If all goes well I'll have my car tomorrow. I'll be sure to post pics when i can.
In the meantime, I've found myself having a little fun in Photoshop. Here, I don't even have the car yet but apparently I have plans going for it.

Well.. there were a few stumps in the loan approval so hopefully tomorrow.
Anyway.. here're a few changes to the chop.

-OSV lip spoiler (if it ever comes out)
-some oval or trapzoid shaped exhaust tips

The rear bumper I used the Razzi rear.. It may look good in the chop (kinda dark too).. but I'm not sure if just the Razzi rear would flow with the rest of the stock body and I'm not much of a fan for the rest of the kit.
