i tinted my taillights the other day, and heres how they came out. are they too dark to use stock bulbs on? Im thinking about putting LEDS for all the bulbs. Do you think this would pass inspection, come time? also would LED's make it much easier to see them lit than reg bulbs? i just dont wanna get in an accident because someone couldnt see my lights

thanks alot. see my other project in the garage? 1972 plymouth satellite 30k original miles!!!! 318, 4bbl, custom duals, 450 CFM 4 bbl intake, edelbrock air cleaner, dyed black interior (about 15 cans) recond. gas tank & lines, new starter, electronic ignition, new water pump, fan, radiator, and ALOT more. Eventually it will havea yellow paint job, bored out engine, bucket seats, etc etc. I dont know if anyones big on muscle cars, but it was a HELL of a lot easier to work on than the alero. if you drop something in the engine bay, it will either lay on the K-frame or go to the ground. last week i dropped pliers behind the fuse box, and it took an hour and a half to get out....

to be honest, in all my experience with LEDs, its hard to find one that is brighter (atleast in daytime) than regular filament bulbs..

yea theres a lil rust but its all surface, and most of it was scraped down to the metal, then primed, and for the roadrunner, its gonna be all debadged, except the "hood ornament", shaved side markers, blacked out grill inserts and either a RR hood, or cowl induction. the engines smokin and backfirin a lil, so i found a used 360 engine & tranny for 700 bucks. the top end has all been rebuilt, and eventually the bottom end might need to, but at 90k, he said that the motor pulls strong. so to answer your question, there will be some things to resemble a RR but it mainly just an experiment car, not a huge show car

Very true, but it's an easy mod, just takes a little time to find a good deal on the donor light. I think it would look sweet with the tint IMHO. Sweet job, Kev
