Ok so yesterday I replaced my driverside wheel berring and everything went well. Once I finished it I took it for a drive down the road and heard the humming noise from the front end again. issed: So now im going to do the passenger side wheel berring tommorow. I swore that it was my driverside that was making all of the racket but I guess I was wong. I was just wondering if this noise could be anything else other than the wheel berring?

Could be the tires. I had a humming sound coming from the back for a while. I thought it could be the wheel bearing. I took it to the dealer and they said it was the tires. I didnt beleive them and just thought they were trying to get out of doing something. Sure enough when i got new tires the sound went away.

Is it when you brake? Make sure your brake lines dont have air in them.

I doubt its the tires but who knows, it sounds like im going down the road with mud boggers on when im in the car lol. And its not when I brake, its just a constant hum. Though this all happend with my winter car (94 chevy berretta). I replaced the wheel berring and yeah it was shot but it still made noise. So I ended up replacing the CV shaft and then it was fine. Though with 81k on my alero i doubt my CV shaft needs to be replaced.

Sounds to me like you replaced the wrong Hub. Either that or both were pooched. I'll be doing my second one this weekend. Just replaced it less then a year ago and its gone again.
