I have a problem. When the car sits out in the sun for a while, it won't start. It will turn over and fire for a second but then will stall. Sometimes the dash lights(computer self check) won't come on. Most of the time it won't even fire. If I wait a while or turn the key on and off a bunch of times, it will start. Randomly the abs and trac off lights come on, but this might be a separate problem. It is a daily driver so I need some help. I had the ignition module checked and replaced the ignition coils because they where under spec. The car still didn't pull any codes.

Does your radio freak out too and you get the error message? reason I ask is my 1st alero had a starting issue and it affected the radio. It turned out to be the ignition solenoid and switch. After that was replaced it started judt fine. It was an expensive fix, but worth it.

Could be as simple as cleaning the throttle plate or putting in a new battery.

Could be a fueling issue. When you try and start it, try putting your foot lightly on the gas while you are cranking it and as soon as it starts, hold it at like 1500 rpm for a few seconds.
