Althought I didn't with the Alero, I had to with the Delta when I pulled the rear view off the windshield while trying the adjust it You may have to take the "button" off the stem of the mirror and attach that first, then the mirror slides onto the button.
It's held in by a allen wrench bolt, but I forget the size, be sure not to overtighten the bolt!! Will cost you a wildshield

Did your's have wires to it? 'Cause if mine fell off the windshield, It'd still be hanging there and I'd want to put it back on just 'cause I wouldn't know how the hell to get it off!

I can tell you right now that super glue won't hold it, lol and no it wasn't me that tried it, it was my mom. Try a glass place, since they do windshields they might have that stuff too.

yeah, mine fell off about a year ago and i used that rear view mirror adhesive. it worked great. its like a 2 part epoxy, and you put it on the button first and let it sit for about a day, then screw the mirror back on...
