hi everyone. im getting a constant clicking sound comming from my 3.4 but i dont know wether its my cam, my valve train or what any ideas on what to check also my car idles on cold start at about 1200 rpm is that bad or no.

Does it only make the sound when it's cold?

it makes the sound both cold and warm but louder when cold and a quiter to unnoticible when warm

sounds like your lifters are ticking. you probably have coolant leakin in ur oil and trashin it's lubricative properties, change the oil. and get the lower intake manifold gasket looked at. and check your coolant level.
